Urbaniseringsgrad (DEGURBA) - Eurostat, v1:2012

Urbaniseringsgrad (DEGURBA) er en klassifikation som inddeler administrative områder (kommuner) efter befolkningstæthed. Klassifikationen følger Eurostat's [Degree of Urbanisation (DEGURBA)](https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/degree-of-urbanisation/information-data) og inddeles i de tre følgende typer af områder: **Cities** (densely populated areas): - At least 50% of the population lives in urban centres. **Towns and suburbs** (intermediate density areas): - At least 50% of the population lives in urban clusters and - Less than 50% of the population lives in urban centres. **Rural areas** (thinly populated areas): - At least 50% of the population lives in rural grid cells.
