Price index
Consumer price index
Shows the price development for household consumption. The change in the consumer price index is used as a measure of inflation.
Net price index
Shows the development in the actual consumer prices less VAT and duties. Especially companies use it to adjust contracts and tenancy agreements.
Harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP)
Shows the development in Denmark’s consumer prices calculated in a way that facilitates comparison with other EU countries.
EU price and volume comparison
Used for international real-economic comparisons and for comparison of the price levels of the different countries.
Producer and import price index for commodities
The producer price index shows the development in Danish producers’ selling prices, while the import price index shows the development in the prices paid by Danish importers.
Producer price index for services
Shows the price development of producer’s sales prices for other producers (business to business).
