The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed are produced by setting up balances for each individual feed material. The purpose of these balances is to calculate how much is used for feed, ensuring that supply equals usage. The feed balances establish and sum up Danish production and foreign production, subtracting exports. The remaining quantity is recorded as consumed for feed, divided into domestic and foreign consumption. For certain crops and feed materials, stock levels are added to the balance. The compilation is primarily based on the fiscal year, as this approach is considered more reliable. However, calendar-year compilations are also created to support the calculation of the Economic Accounts for Agriculture (EAA)., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, It is relevant for the agricultural organizations, ministries and agencies, who uses it to follow the development in the amounts and costs of cereals and feed.
