Indicators
Definition
The indicator is calculated by the Ministry of Justice's Research Office. It shows the proportion of victims of violence within the past 12 months who have personally reported the incident to the police, relative to all victims of violence. Presented as a percentage. The indicator covers individuals aged 16–74 at the time of the interview. The indicator deviates from the official UN definition, according to SDG definition 16.3.1, which states: Proportion of victims of (a) physical, (b) psychological and/or (c) sexual violence in the previous 12 months who reported their victimization to competent authorities or other officially recognized conflict resolution mechanisms.
