Definition
The indicator is calculated by Statistics Denmark and is from 2025 based on data from The Danish Labour Market Insurance for Occupational Injuries. Prior to 2025, the indicator was based on information from The Danish Working Environment Authority. The number of occupational accidents is calculated in relation to the number of employed person.
According to the UN indicator definition (SDG 8.8.1), the data should also be disaggregated by migrant status. However, the available data do not permit such a disaggregation.
