Target 17.6: Knowledge sharing and cooperation for access to science, technology and innovation
Enhance North-South, South-South and triangular regional and international cooperation on and access to science, technology and innovation and enhance knowledge-sharing on mutually agreed terms, including through improved coordination among existing mechanisms, in particular at the United Nations level, and through a global technology facilitation mechanism.

17.6.1: Internet broadband subscriptions
Definition
The indicator is calculated by Statistics Denmark and is based on the semi-annual telecommunication report on fixed broadband subscriptions, by download speed, by The Danish Energy Agency, and Statistics Denmark's population 1. January statistics. The calculation divides the number of fixed broadband subscriptions by December 31 with the population figures by January 1, which are then multiplied by 100 to calculate the proportion of subscribers per 100 inhabitants. The indicator correlates with the UN definition.
