Livestock

Livestock has always been of big importance in the Danish agriculture. One fourth of the farms are specialised in pigs, cattle and other livestock. The dominating animals among the farms are pigs and cattle, but also poultries, horses and sheep play a role. From 2010-20 the figures also include farms with minks. Livestock has in many years been covered in yearly farm structure surveys and the quarterly surveys on pigs and cattle.
