Leisure and Business Trips

The statistics are published in the press release "News Release" approx. 7 months after the end of the reference year. Furthermore, data from the survey can be found in Statistical Yearbook and in Statistical 10-year Review. "Statistical News Release" can be found until reference year 2012.

Data is also published in the StatBank: (https://www.Statbank.dk).

The publication date appears in the release calendar. The date is confirmed in the weeks before.

User access

Statistics are always published at 8:00 a.m. at the day announced in the release calendar. No one outside of Statistics Denmark can access the statistics before they are published.

Micro-data access

The data collected is stored in electronic form from 1995. It is possible to gain access to anonymous micro data via the Science Agreement in Statistics Denmark.

Other

Aggregate data and micro data are disseminated to Eurostat on an annual basis. Eurostat is the EU Commission´s statistical organization.

Confidentiality - policy

In the compilation of tourism statistics, the confidentiality policy of Statistics Denmark is followed. Link in Danish here.

Confidentiality - data treatment

The respondents are anonymous in the input data in order not to be able to identify an individual. Confidentiality is furthermore ensured by accumulating data or by omission of certain variable breakdowns if there is less than 10 respondents in a given cell.
