    Our projects

    Statistics Denmark implements projects in other countries with the purpose to build up these countries’ capacity to produce reliable, comparable, timely and available statistics. Below is a list of some of those countries we currently support as well as some of those countries we supported in the past., Ghana, Morocco and Vietnam, January 2024/January 2025 – December 2026, Statistics Denmark and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on one side and the national statistical institutions in Ghana, Morocco and Vietnam on the other side have agreed to implement Phase II of the Strategic Sector Cooperation projects in the area of statistics. The aim of the second phase is that,  partner countries are strengthened and in a better position to consistently provide a reliable and credible evidence-base to sensitise decision-makers, implementers and key actors responsible for advancing a just green transition, as well as for the general public at large. , Vietnam entered Phase II in January 2025. For example:, Each year, we prepare a gender equality report showing, for example, the gender distribution of different staff groups and management levels as well as gender-specific earnings statistics, which allows us to regularly assess the extent of the gender equality gap and the effect of initiatives., As part of surveying emotional health in the workplace and employee satisfaction in the organisation, permanent questions are included on gender-specific discrimination, harassment and offending actions. The survey is conducted every two years., Follow-up, The Executive Board regularly follows up on the initiatives and identifies any need to adjust the plan., Every year, the Executive Board and the Joint Consultation Committee discuss the gender equality status based on an annual gender equality report. Multipliers are not statistics in the traditional sense but may be termed more correctly as model calculations. As it is not entirely uncomplicated to calculate multipliers, a collection of the most used multipliers are made available for download this way. The statistics is a resume - now in electronic form - of the publication , Danish input-output tables and analyses, , that was published annually in a period up until 2011. , Statistical presentation, The tables contain a variety of multipliers, which can be considered a tool for assessing the impact of various "shocks" on demand. The tables are divided into three groups, production multipliers, employment multipliers and input multipliers. Each of these three groups is further subdivided into whether it is a shock to the demand in a particular industry or in a specific final use. In each table, it is also possible to further choose which type of multiplier you want to work with or what kind of employment you find most interesting. The theaters divided into state-subsidized and non-state-subsidized theaters. Statistics for the state-subsidized theaters have been prepared since the season 1980/1981. Statistics for the non-state-subsidized theaters have been prepared since the 2003/2004 season. Statistics on international guest performances on both state-sponsored and non state-subsidized theaters have been prepared since the 2004/2005 season. In season 2005/2006 was the concert and culture hosted international guest performances also included in the statistics.     Unemployment concepts

    There are three different unemployment concepts – net unemployment, gross unemployment and LFS unemployment., Statistics Denmark regularly publishes two sets of unemployment statistics, which use different unemployment concepts and consequently result in different unemployment figures.
