Definition

The indicator is calculated by Statistics Denmark on the basis of the accounting statistics for the private industry, as the share of the value added of the intermediate and high-tech industrial enterprises in relation to the total value added in the industry. By intermediate and high-tech industrial enterprises is meant enterprises in the manufacture of chemical products, pharmaceutical raw materials and preparations, weapons and ammunition, computers, electronic and optical products, electrical equipment, machinery and equipment, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, means of transport (excluding ships and both), medical and dental instruments.
