    Definition

    The indicator is based on the Danish Health Authority’s report  ”Danskernes Rygevaner”, which used to be published yearly, but since 2020 has only been published every other year.. The report monitors and describes the status and trends in the population’s use of tobacco and nicotine products, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes/vapes, heated tobacco, and smoke-free nicotine products. Note that this indicator exclusively describes tobacco consumption.
