Similar statistics are compiled among EU member states. The statistics comply with EU regulations and guidelines. There are no other Danish statistics on the subject. Data for the period 2003-2024 have previously been published. However, data collection for the individual crops has only been carried out in selected years, and production figures for the intervening years are therefore based on yield estimates. Harvested area is only included for the years in which data were collected.
Comparability - geographical
Similar statistics are compiled among EU member states and are available from the Eurostat website. The statistics follow EU standards.
Comparability over time
Figures for 2003-2024 can be found in the Statbank table GARTN1: Production of fruit and vegetables by area, unit and crop. During this period, data collection for each crop has only been carried out in selected years. Production in the intervening years is based on yield estimates. Harvested area is only included in these selected years.
