Contact info, Food Industries, Business Statistics , Simone Thun , +45 51 36 92 51 , MHG@dst.dk , Get documentation of statistics as pdf, Production of Compound Feed 2025 , Previous versions, Production of Compound Feed 2024, Production of Compound Feed 2023, Production of Compound Feed 2022, Production of Compound Feed 2021, Production of Compound Feed 2018, Production of Compound Feed 2017, Production of Compound Feed 2016, Production of Compound Feed 2014, The purpose of the statistics is to shed light on the quantitative production of compound feed for livestock, as well as to calculate the total quantities of grain and feed materials used in compound feed. Feed materials are eg. oats or soybeans. The statistics shows which type of feed mixes are produced the most, and the development of feed mixes over time. The total quantities of compound feed and feed materials are used for calculations of The Economic Accounts for Agriculture (EAA). The statistics has been compiled since 1968, but in its current form is comparable from 1990 onwards., Statistical presentation, The statistics is an annual statement of compound feed production and feed materials used in compound feed calculated in millions. kg. Feed production is calculated for the calendar year and for various feed mixes for cattle, pigs, poultry and other livestock species. , Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Data is first checked by comparing individual reports with reports from previous periods. When the data collection is finished, the data is checked for errors on a macro level, for example by comparing with the development in the cattle and pig populations. In 2022, the data collection and data processing for The content composition of compound feed (FBL) was restructured so that the collection became identical to Production of compound feed (PAF). The rearrangement of FBL leads to a data breach in FODER2 from 2022, as there is no longer direct comparability. , Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, It is relevant for the agricultural organizations, ministries and agencies, who uses it to follow the development in the volume growth in the production of compound feed. Moreover, it is an input to the Economic Accounts for Agriculture. , Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The overall reliability is good. In 2022, the data processing for the content composition of the compound feed (FBL) was restructured, so that the collection became identical to Production of compound feed. The change entails a data breach in FODER2 from 2022. The old enumeration method has led to a certain overestimation of the use of some of the feed materials in compound feed., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, From 2023, the statistics will only be published once a year in the month of May in connection with the publication of the national Economic Accounts for Agriculture (EAA), almost 6 months after the reference time., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, There is full comparability in data back to 1990 in the table FODER3. The overall main groups are comparable back to the start of the statistics in the operating year 1968/69. As regards to The content composition of the compound feed (FBL), which is published in FODER2, there is full comparability from 1992 to 2021. In 2022, the data collection and data processing for FBL was realigned. The change entails a data breach in FODER2 from 2022, as there is no longer complete comparability in the use of the feed materials and hence the quantities of single feed substances., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, These statistics is published in the StatBank under , Feed, fertiliser and pesticides, . Copenhagen Municipality (code 101) and Frederiksberg Municipality (code 147) were the only ones assigned both county and municipal tasks. , As of May 18. 1971 Asminderød-Grønholt Municipality (code 203) changed name to Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune (kode 208). , From 1 April 1974, Sengeløse Municipality (code 177) was incorporated into Høje-Taastrup Municipality (code 169) and Store Magleby Municipality (code 179) was incorporated into Dragør Municipality (code 155), which reduced the total number of municipalities to 275. , This classification includes Christiansø (code 411). Documentation of statistics: Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark

Contact info, Food Industries, Business Statistics , Karsten Kjeld Larsen , +45 21 29 55 76 , KKL@dst.dk , Get documentation of statistics as pdf, Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark 2025 , Previous versions, Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark 2024, Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark 2020, The purpose of the statistics Ownership of agricultural land is to show how the Danish agricultural land is distributed by nationality of the owners. , Statistical presentation, The statistics show on an annual basis the number of owners and how the ownership of Danish agricultural land is distributed by the nationalities of the owners, regions, type of owner, gender, age and size., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, The IACS register (Integrated Agricultural Control System) The General Land Register is merged with the Owner Register. For personal identification numbers, citizenship is found via the Personal Register. For business ownership, the CVR is used for real and legal owners. If there are only legal owners, data from Eurostat's group register is supplemented, whereby the owner's nationality can be determined. For foreign owners, the country of residence is used as the country code. The owners can be both private individuals and companies., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The statistics meet a need, particularly from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, to know the extent of Danish agricultural land in foreign ownership. The statistics are also expected to be of interest to political parties, the industry and the public in general., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The statistics cover all agricultural land in Denmark for which crop subsidies have been applied for. Very little agricultural land is cultivated in Denmark for which area support is not applied for. The source data for the statistics are obtained from the General Agricultural Register (GLR), which is also used as a source in the Agricultural and Horticultural Census, and covers virtually all agricultural land in Denmark, and is considered a reliable source. The cadastral register overlaid on the applied plots of land is considered to be of high quality. However, the comparison of field maps and the cadastre gives rise to some choices of cadastres/plots for the statistics. For ownership by persons, citizenship is considered to be of very high quality. Information on ownership from the CVR when it is persons or real owners is considered to be of good quality. Supplement with data from Eurostat's group register are made., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, The statistics will be published 4-5 months from the reference time December 31. , Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, The statistics are comparable with the farm structure survey, but the figures for the agricultural area are not exactly identical in the two statistics. This is due to fact that the statistics include all land cultivated by farmers applying for crop subsidies whereas the farm structure survey as main rule only include farm of at least 5,0 hectares. The units in the two statistics are not the same.
