The data are used for purposes such as policy development and legislation, public debate and research in the field., The statistics were first compiled by the Danish Social Appeals Board (Ankestyrelsen) in 2015 and have been part of Statistics Denmark’s publications since 2016., Statistical presentation, The statistics provide an annual overview of notifications concerning children and young people under the age of 18., The data include information on the number, age, and gender, date of the notification, the notifier’s relation to the child, reason for the notification, and the administrative municipality., The statistics are published in the StatBank and in the Nyt from Statistics Denmark series., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Municipalities report information on child welfare notifications to Statistics Denmark. This is done either automatically through system-to-system solutions or manually via a web-based reporting tool., Once a reporting year has ended, each municipality receives a summary of the data submitted. In cooperation with Statistics Denmark, any errors or missing information are corrected. The municipality then confirms that the data accurately reflect the number of notifications for the year. This process is called data validation., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The statistics are relevant to researchers, journalists, public authorities – including ministries and municipalities – and others who seek knowledge about the conditions of vulnerable children and young people., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, Non-response and measurement errors introduce only minimal bias., The figures are approved by the municipalities, and the overall level of uncertainty is considered low., Data in the StatBank Denmark are republished with updates going back up to two years. These updates mainly consist of minor corrections due to non-response and measurement errors, and do not affect the overall picture., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, The final statistics are published no later than nine months after the end of the reference period. The statistics are generally published on schedule, without delays. For the reporting years 2021–2024, publication followed the planned timeline. A delay occurred for the 2020 reporting year due to data delivery issues, but these were resolved before the subsequent release., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, The statistics have been compiled since 2015 and are comparable over time, taking into account the revision in 2017 and the addition of new categories in 2022 and 2024. The annual count makes the data directly comparable, unlike other statistics from Statistics Denmark on vulnerable children and young people (such as placements and support measures), which are status-based. There is some potential for international comparison, particularly with statistics from Sweden and Norway., The statistics are partially internationally comparable, for example with equivalent statistics from Sweden, Norway, and – to some extent – Finland., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, The statistics are published in , Nyt fra Danmarks Statistik, . Regions, provinces and municipalities, v1:2007-

Name: , NUTS_V1_2007_DK , Description: , With the Danish Structural Reform, which came into force on 1 January 2007, The counties were abolished and replaced by 5 new regions. In addition, 98 municipalities were formed, which replaced the previous 271. For statistical purposes, the 5 regions are further divided into 11 provinces., The reform resulted by law in a new local and regional structure of the whole country with two administrative levels - regions and municipalities - and thereby a change of administrative units. Of the 98 municipalities, 32 municipalities retained the same municipal code and title before and after the reform., This classification includes Christiansø (code 411). Christiansø does not belong to a municipality, but is managed directly by the state via the Ministry of Defense., The geographical breakdown of regions and provinces is consistent with the Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics (NUTS).Municipalities correspond to local administrative units (LAU), which complement the NUTS nomenclature., Valid from: , January 1, 2007 , Office: , Metode og Data Science , Contact: , Søren Kristensen, , skr@dst.dk, , ph. +45 20 51 64 42 , Codes and categories, Open hierarchy, Download , CSV, DDI, 084: Capital Region of Denmark, 01: Province City of Copenhagen, 101: København, 147: Frederiksberg, 155: Dragør, 185: Tårnby, 02: Province Copenhagen environs, 165: Albertslund, 151: Ballerup, 153: Brøndby, 157: Gentofte, 159: Gladsaxe, 161: Glostrup, 163: Herlev, 167: Hvidovre, 169: Høje-Taastrup, 183: Ishøj, 173: Lyngby-Taarbæk, 175: Rødovre, 187: Vallensbæk, 03: Province North Zealand, 201: Allerød, 240: Egedal, 210: Fredensborg, 250: Frederikssund, 190: Furesø, 270: Gribskov, 260: Halsnæs, 217: Helsingør, 219: Hillerød, 223: Hørsholm, 230: Rudersdal, 04: Province Bornholm, 400: Bornholm, 411: Christiansø, 085: Region Zealand, 05: Province East Zealand, 253: Greve, 259: Køge, 350: Lejre, 265: Roskilde, 269: Solrød, 06: Province West and South Zealand, 320: Faxe, 376: Guldborgsund, 316: Holbæk, 326: Kalundborg, 360: Lolland, 370: Næstved, 306: Odsherred, 329: Ringsted, 330: Slagelse, 340: Sorø, 336: Stevns, 390: Vordingborg, 083: Region of Southern Denmark, 07: Province Fyn, 420: Assens, 430: Faaborg-Midtfyn, 440: Kerteminde, 482: Langeland, 410: Middelfart, 480: Nordfyns, 450: Nyborg, 461: Odense, 479: Svendborg, 492: Ærø, 08: Province South Jutland, 530: Billund, 561: Esbjerg, 563: Fanø, 607: Fredericia, 510: Haderslev, 621: Kolding, 540: Sønderborg, 550: Tønder, 573: Varde, 575: Vejen, 630: Vejle, 580: Aabenraa, 082: Central Denmark Region, 09: Province East Jutland, 710: Favrskov, 766: Hedensted, 615: Horsens, 707: Norddjurs, 727: Odder, 730: Randers, 741: Samsø, 740: Silkeborg, 746: Skanderborg, 706: Syddjurs, 751: Aarhus, 10: Province West Jutland, 657: Herning, 661: Holstebro, 756: Ikast-Brande, 665: Lemvig, 760: Ringkøbing-Skjern, 779: Skive, 671: Struer, 791: Viborg, 081: North Denmark Region, 11: Province North Jutland, 810: Brønderslev, 813: Frederikshavn, 860: Hjørring, 849: Jammerbugt, 825: Læsø, 846: Mariagerfjord, 773: Morsø, 840: Rebild, 787: Thisted, 820: Vesthimmerlands, 851: Aalborg, All versions, Name, Valid from, Valid to, Regions, provinces and municipalities, v1:2007-, January 1, 2007, Still valid

    Currency codes (ISO 4217), v1:2019

Name: , VALUTA_ISO_V1_2019 , Description: , ISO 4217, is the International Standard for currency codes. The purpose of ISO 4217 is to define internationally recognised codes of letters and/or numbers that can be used to identify currencies, e.g. for international money transfers or exchange of currencies.
