The international investment position is a statement of Denmark’s claims (assets) and debt (liabilities) vis-á-vis abroad at a given point in time, e.g. by the end of a year. The figures are published quarterly by Danmarks Nationalbank.
Denmark’s international investment position is distributed by type of investment and sector and is published quarterly by Danmarks Nationalbank. The sectors are private companies and households, the public and financial institutes and the foreign exchange reserves in the central bank of Denmark. The types of investment can be distributed by e.g. direct investments, shares, bonds, and foreign exchange reserves.
