This set of statistics is about vulnerable groups’ use of health services and documents whether their consumption of health services differs from that of the rest of the population.
This set of statistics is an annual compilation of the use of public health services by vulnerable groups, measured by selected health indicators, and it includes a comparison with the rest of the population. The health indicators include contact with the primary sector (general practitioner, medical specialist, dentist, physiotherapist, chiropractor etc.) as well as the secondary sector (public somatic and psychiatric hospitals). Statistics Denmark has not previously released data on psychiatric hospitals.
In the first instance, the statistics include figures for the group Vulnerable children and young persons, and we intend to extend the statistics with more groups of vulnerable persons from time to time.
