A guided tour at Rosenborg Castle
Rosenborg Castle was built by one of the most famous Scandinavian kings, Christian IV, in the early 17th century. Rosenborg Castle is the home of the Crown Jewels and Royal Regalia. It is a royal hermitage set in the King’s Garden in the heart of Copenhagen. Rosenborg Castle features 400 years of splendor, royal art treasures e.g. tapestries on the walls to commemorate battles between Denmark and Sweden.
Please be aware that the guided tour includes many stairs and walking. For safety reasons it is not allowed to bring large bags, suitcases, etc. at the castle. It will be possible to deposit these.

Entry ticket to Tivoli
We will end the day in the famous amusement park, Tivoli in the centre of Copenhagen. Tivoli’s founder Georg Carstensen had already been granted permission from King Christian VIII in 1841 to build an amusement park. The following year he succeeded in getting a permit to build the amusement park on Copenhagen’s embankments – an area just outside the city walls. On 1st May 1843 building began on the grounds and Tivoli opened its doors for the first time on 15th August.
