International trade

Denmark’s international trade is attributed to many different countries inside as well as outside the European Union (EU) and comprises trade in goods as well as trade in services. The most important trading partners for Denmark are Germany, Sweden and Great Britain. Trade with countries outside the EU, e.g. USA and China, also play a significant role.
The statistics related to International Trade are used as input – together with other sources - for the balance of payments statistics.
