Regional accounts, sectors

The statistics show the income situation in the regions and provinces and are consistent with the national annual sector accounts but are compiled only for the household sector. The statistics are compiled according to the guidelines for the EU's national and regional accounts (ESA2010).

Introduction
The principle behind the regionalization of the household sector income is the region of residence, i.e. the income is allocated to the region where it is received – not where it is earned.
The regional household accounts include a regional breakdown of the household sector’s primary and secondary incomes. The primary income consists of gross operating surplus and mixed income, received wages and property income and expenses. The secondary income consists of social transfers, paid taxes, social contributions and other current transfers. Household disposable income is calculated as the sum of the primary and secondary incomes.
The main source for the regional distribution is the Income statistics.
