Regional accounts

The regional accounts illustrate the geographical dimension of production and income conditions, as they are calculated in the national accounts. The regional distribution is calculated by provinces and regions. The regional accounts are calculated according to international guidelines in the EU’s system of national and regional accounts (ESA2010), and are comparable with the regional statements made in other EU countries.

Introduction
The statistics are based on regional figures of national accounts sources, where possible. Mainly data from the accounts statistics for Private Urban Trade, Agricultural AccountsStatistics, Establishment-related Employment Statistics, the Database for Integrated Public Accounts (DIOR), Research and Development statistics and Income statistics are applied. In addition, various quantitative indicators of regional activity are used.
The statistics are published annually.
