Wealth and debt

The wealth statistics is among other thinks showing how the wealth is distributed geographically and how it has evolved over time - also during the financial crisis. Furthermore the statistics presents differences in income and socioeconomic factors.

Introduction

A jointly presentation of all the components of the households wealth will be published in January 2016.

The Danes have high debt in relation to their incomes but at the same time they own considerable amounts of assets. The statistics throw light on the important parts of the wealth of individuals which can be combined with background information as income, socio-economic group, kind of housing and geographic.
